Cheeky Lime Camera Bag Review

My bag came shipped and packaged in a white fabric protection cover bag.

Love at first sight! When I pulled my Cheeky Lime bag out my first thought was, " OH MY GOSH I LOVE IT!" The colors are amazing and eye catching and the little camera charm is so adorable.

I was so anxious to see the inside of the bag. I wasn't sure is with was red or pink based on the photos on their website, but I was so pleased to find that it is pink! The inserts are super soft fabric and you get so many inserts with your bag you could easily organize all of your equipment. I fit my 5D mark II, a 50mm 1.2L lens, a 200mm 2.8L lens, a 70-200mm 4L lens, a 24-105mm 4L lens, a 430 EX II flash with bounce cover, a couple filters, 20 batteries, some CF cards, and my cell phone, wallet & car keys in my bag and I still have room for more! This is an extremely sturdy bag also.

I highly recommend this bag to any photograp(her) looking for something cute and stylish, yet big enough to fit everything! It is also a GREAT price...only $98!!!

ROCK THE SHOT CHALLENGE

I'm participating in my FIRST Rock the Shot Challenge! Topic: Favorite shot of 2012.
I decided that This photo of my oldest Son is my favorite shot of 2012. My son is 8 years old and in that "almost a big boy" stage. I have taken many photos of him and this by far makes me a little sad as a mother. He is growing way too fast for me. You can see how handsome of a man he is going to be in this. His chubby cheeks are decreasing into model material cheek bones and his eyes look full of wonder and more depth...less carefree child games of tag and coloring books. My baby is growing up.

Pittsburgh Cultural Trust: Gallery Crawl

Friday the 25th was the Gallery Crawl! I bundled up and went with my friend Kelsey Kradel. We had an amazing time! (side note: I was on the flyer cover AGAIN haha )

Kelsey at the Crawl!

Since the temp was extra cold and we were hit by an almost bad snow storm early in the day the Crawl wasn't as busy as usual :( Despite the fact, there were so many good shows. Wood Street Galleries had an amazing interactive light exhibit!

There was also a dance performance by Continuum Dance Theater also. The dancer were amazing and so strong! I really recommend checking these ladies out.

Laughter+Jokes+Oh So Serious=MAURA!

Maura is my friend Lisa's niece, and we recently went to Preston Park in Butler Township to do photos as Christmas gifts for her Mommy and Daddy! This girl is SPUNKY to say the least....I am pretty sure she gets it from her auntie Lisa. All little girls get their awesomeness from their aunties right?

She was a perfect model the entire shoot. She hated all of my jokes, I must say they were really awful, and she made some jokes of her own, which I also must say were pretty good!

Maura's laughter is so contagious. My face hurt after this shoot was over from smiling so much.
I also am not the biggest fan of posting outtakes, BUT I have to make an exception for the next two photos. Maura's Grandma and Aunt Lisa went above and beyond and became lumberjacks during Maura's shoot. It was beyond funny!

I love making memories and shoots fun for everyone involved. Being natural in photos and looking comfortable is more flattering to everyone no matter what age you are.

Cakes by Pennie

All teacher's get ornaments for Christmas each year, and they are all the same SO this year we decided to get my Son's Kindergarten teacher, the school secretary, security guard, principal, and teacher's aide something sweet! So of course I went straight to Cakes By Pennie ! :)

I asked if she could make a variety for each of them, and oh my goodness, she did just that! Everyone LOVED them and were so pleased to get cupcakes rather then the normal gifts! Pennie is as sweet as her cakes and I know I will be placing orders in the future.

The Roddy's, at Armstrong Farms

This past weekend I toughened up, bundled up, and coffee'd up for an amazing session with The Roddy's at Armstrong Farms. This family is full of positive energy, happiness, and love.

I love it when families are so open and themselves during shoots and this family was a dream. Before the shoot I met them at their home where I was told all about pirates, Christmas ornaments, sporting injuries, and the Elf on the Shelf. I guess if one little guy doesn't eat his dinner Santa will not be stopping at their house! After chatting for a bit, we left for Armstrong Farms.

The Roddy children were so polite and were a joy to photograph. I know they have such proud parents also. I say it all the time, I am blessed to have had such amazing clients.
